This is a new route that will give customers better connections to trains on the Sunbury Line, and connect Caroline Springs Town Centre with Albion and Sunshine stations.
Passengers on Route 426 can change to trains at Albion Station, or bus routes 216, 219, 220 or 410 at Sunshine to continue their journey towards Footscray and the city.
Route 426 will operate every 10 to 20 minutes in peak periods, every 40 minutes during the day, with services until after midnight, seven days a week.
When a new bridge on Westwood Drive across Kororoit Creek opens (expected 2018), route 426 will operate via Westwood Drive in Burnside Heights. Route 426 will deviate (without stopping) between Rockbank Middle Road and Caroline Springs Town Centre before the bridge opens.
